In September 2019, Beta Signs were asked to provide a signage package for Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool.

Our brief:
The client asked for a package that focused on the external signs, and requested that the signs were illuminated.

Beta Signs proposed an illuminated, double sided monolith, a halo illuminated fascia tray with built up letters and a light box that featured stenciled illumination.

The illuminated monolith was manufactured using 4 metre by 2 metre sheets of aluminium which avoided the need for unnecessary joints through the face.

On the face of the monolith, we used stenciled illumination with push through acrylic which was then faced with 1mm thick aluminium to create a halo illumination.

When installing the monolith, Beta Signs used a HIAB to lower it onto a concrete pad which allowed for a safe, and efficient installation.
