• Project information:

In September 2019, Beta Signs were asked to provide a signage package for Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool.

  • Our brief:

The client asked for a package that focused on the external signs, and requested that the signs were illuminated.

  • Beta Signs proposed an illuminated, double sided monolith, a halo illuminated fascia tray with built up letters and a light box that featured stenciled illumination.

  • The illuminated monolith was manufactured using 4 metre by 2 metre sheets of aluminium which avoided the need for unnecessary joints through the face.

  • On the face of the monolith, we used stenciled illumination with push through acrylic which was then faced with 1mm thick aluminium to create a halo illumination.

  • When installing the monolith, Beta Signs used a HIAB to lower it onto a concrete pad which allowed for a safe, and efficient installation.
