In August 2020, Beta Signs were chosen to manufacture a signage package for Horizon Cremation in Cannock Chase.
The client’s branding is an impressive design that is formed out of 756 individual circles.
This created a challenge for our design team to re-produce into a successful print solution.
Our team also had to propose a sign with a 2.8 metre diameter logo which would become the main feature of the building.
Due to standard material sizes, the external logo sign had to be produced in two sections with a joint across the middle.
The individual circles were added using laser cut 3mm flat plate components – The smallest being just 5mm in diameter, this meant we could achieve a 3D effect.
The architect’s material palette for the building used COR-TEN steel, so we proposed complimentary colours which embraced that.
As standard RAL colours were limiting we turned to Pantone swatches when paint matching, this then set the colours throughout the internal, external and wayfinding signs.
