• Project information:

In August 2020, Beta Signs were chosen to manufacture a signage package for Horizon Cremation in Cannock Chase.

  • Our brief:

The client’s branding is an impressive design that is formed out of 756 individual circles.

  • This created a challenge for our design team to re-produce into a successful print solution.

  • Our team also had to propose a sign with a 2.8 metre diameter logo which would become the main feature of the building.

  • Due to standard material sizes, the external logo sign had to be produced in two sections with a joint across the middle.

  • The individual circles were added using laser cut 3mm flat plate components – The smallest being just 5mm in diameter, this meant we could achieve a 3D effect.

  • The architect’s material palette for the building used COR-TEN steel, so we proposed complimentary colours which embraced that.

  • As standard RAL colours were limiting we turned to Pantone swatches when paint matching, this then set the colours throughout the internal, external and wayfinding signs.
